So the job's finishing up, and I had a full day of nothing yesterday. Sounds good, right? Well, not for those of us who are overachievers and who's whole sense of identity is wrapped up in what gets checked off the to-do list.

So I made up a to-do list and started working through it. Laundry, check. Clean house, check. Weed garden, check. Wash car, check. Not two hours after washing the car birds decided to decorate it with their signature style. Sigh.

I need stuff to do, but I can't be wasting my time - I can think of much more enjoyable ways to waste my time than rewashing the car every day. This staying home thing is going to take some getting used to. My luck, I'll just be getting the hang of it when the semester starts up and I have zero free time again.

But hey, I have to have something to complain about, right?
